The Old Salem campground managed by Georgia Power has almost 100 campsites, a beach and bath house, and a boat ramp. All sites have just water and electricity hookups available at amps. There are 20 pull throughs, a dump station, laundry facilities and RV storage. Recreational facilities at Old Salem Park include a pavilion, volley ball courts and a playground. The campgrounds are within easy access of the boat dock for all water based activities such as boating and lake fishing. The most common type of fish you'll find at Lake Oconee is the largemouth bass. The Old Salem Park campgrounds are open from May 1 until November 1. Big rigs are welcome at this campground.
